    Description

    My client, a leading provide and distributer of building products in Ireland are seeking an experienced Marketer to join them on a permanent basis.

    The Marketing Manager will take ownership of the Marketing function, play a key role in managing the Company's brand and manage a fantastic small marketing team.

    Role and key deliverables:

    • Brand Marketing – Own the development of the Brand Vision & Positioning for the Company's brands. Be responsible for creating a strategy alongside a complete execution of various online and offline campaigns.
    • Leadership & Stakeholder Management - Manage the marketing team alongside managing and guiding the external suppliers and agencies from a marketing perspective. Prepare for and communicate weekly marketing updates to the Commercial Team.
    • Content Strategy - Develop briefs for various marketing outputs and together with the marketing team create a strategy and content for our Website and Social Media channels.
    • Digital Marketing – Manage the company websites, social media channels and review the performance analytics of same. Review and develop these with a view to executing a digital transformation in the medium and long term.
    • Event Management - Manage and execute to a first-class standard events, including trade shows, live streams/webinars, conferences, training events, product launches and other corporate engagement activities.
    • Recommend, gain approval for and continually monitor the marketing budget to ensure tight control over expenditure within agreed budget limits.
    • Ensure that designs for packaging and re-packing of products will achieve maximum market impact at minimum cost.
    • Ensure close co-operation with Sales (internal and external), Supply Chain, Warehousing and Distribution to ensure the agreed marketing plans are achieved and exceeded, appropriate to the commercial needs of the business.

    Experience required:

    • Seasoned marketing professional of graduate calibre with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Construction and DIY products and or markets or adjacent markets.
    • Broad, progressive marketing management experience preferable from within the industry or adjacent markets.
    • Mature, administrative, organisational and people management skills.
    • Good analytical and creative skills, with high professional and personal integrity.
    • Previous experience with WordPress (or other CMS) alongside a strong background in Digital Marketing (SEO, Email Marketing, and Social Media) is essential.
    • A creative thinker who possesses the experience which reflects the capacity for vision and strategic thinking combined with a pragmatic approach and results-driven orientation.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
