    Financial Accountant – Citywest Our Client, part of a Multi-national group, is looking to recruit a Part Qualified / finalis Financial Accountant to join their Finance team.

    They are looking for someone who is planning to qualify in the next year to 18 months.
    They will offer a study package, and hybrid working candidate.
    The office is based in Citywest.

    The person will provide professional and comprehensive support services on a day-to-day basis to facilitate the efficient operation and contribute to the long-term development of the department.


    Core focus areas include:
    Monthly Management Accounts, Group Reporting – monthly, quarterly & annually, Financial Budgets & Forecasts, Tax Returns, Annual Audit.

    The Role:
    Assist with planning and monitoring month end processes.
    Assist with preparation and issuing of Monthly Management Accounts including journals, reconciliations, profit margin and variance analysis.
    Intercompany Reconciliations and Reporting.
    Assist with monthly preparation of information and reporting to Group.
    Assist with annual provision of Budget and periodic update of Forecast.
    Overhead control & analysis.
    Assisting in the preparation of Tax returns.
    Assisting in the preparation of Statutory Accounts.
    Assist with Asset Valuation reviews.
    Support the processing of asset sales and asset purchases.
    Authorising invoices, payments, and other electronic submissions in accordance with procedures and bank mandates.
    Liaising with Auditors, dealing with queries.
    Undertake other ad-hoc reporting duties and projects as they arise.


    The Person:

    Currently studying for a professional accounting qualificationExperience in Practice or Industry or Financial ServicesGood understanding of Financial accounting is keyHave good problem-solving skills and work well on own initiative.

    Show attention to detail while working towards tight deadlines.
    Have strong communication skills.
    Experience with accounting software and Microsoft applications.
