    The experienced Tax FS team of 180 led by Colin Farrell along with our 8 Partners are experts in their respective fields, specialising in the dynamic and diverse world of financial services. The group works across the core areas of Banking & Capital Markets, Asset & Wealth Management and Insurance and provides tax services to clients in areas such as aircraft leasing, treasury operations, insurance, real estate and funds. We are a team that embraces change and are focused on using technology-based solutions to deliver an excellent client service.

    About our team

  • PwC are global leaders in servicing the Asset & Wealth Management industry, and we provide services to all major players in the industry. In Dublin, our dedicated Asset & Wealth Management tax team is made up of 50 individuals led by 4 partners.
  • We provide services to a wide range of clients across the traditional and alternative fund industries, including private equity and real estate markets.
  • Our Asset & Wealth Management clients operate on a global basis and so do we. Our tax teams in Dublin work every day with many of the international tax teams in our PwC network - located in 158 countries - giving you a unique opportunity to network with colleagues around the world and work not only on Irish structures but also on transactions spanning international borders.
  • Our work crosses a spectrum of consultancy services, including advice on mergers and re-domiciliations, assessment of portfolio level tax exposures and analysis of the impact on our clients of OECD and EU tax developments. We work closely with our international network firms on product design and development, taking account of multi-jurisdictional combinations of investors, funds and investments.
  • We also provide a range of compliance focused services, including the provision of investor tax reporting for our clients. We are bringing members of our existing AWM tax team together into a dedicated investor tax reporting team, focused on the analysis of data and provision of UK investor tax reporting services to our clients.
  • Which role is available?

    We are currently recruiting for a Manager to join our dedicated investor tax reporting team within the Asset & Wealth Management tax team within FS.

    What does this role offer?

    You will be located in our Dublin office at Spencer Dock, although this is flexible and we are also open to considering one of our regional offices in Kilkenny, Limerick, Cork, Galway, Waterford or Wexford. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Work on a challenging, evolving and varied client portfolio, with excellent opportunities to develop and manage your own portfolio.
  • Gain excellent experience focusing on investor tax reporting projects for clients.
  • Collaborate with clients and administrators to gather and analyse necessary financial information for tax reporting purposes.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance efficiency and leverage technology in tax reporting processes.
  • Work in a flexible working environment with autonomy to manage your own team and clients while reporting to a team of experienced directors and partners.

    Who are we looking for?

  • A degree in accounting, finance, maths or a related field.
  • Have at least 5 years' experience working in a professional environment.
  • Ideally have worked in a fund or management accounting team or within a fund tax operations team.
  • Adept at reading and understanding Financial Statements and supporting account information/data and reports.
  • Strong process management skills.
  • Attention to detail essential.
  • Ability to manage teams and coach others.
  • Comfortable with new technologies and data visualisations.
  • Organised, a self-starter and an enthusiastic team player.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Eager to enhance your technical and other knowledge / skills.
