- Financial Oversight and Management - managing the company's finances, preparing and reviewing financial reports, accurately reflecting the company's financial state, and challenging it
- Contribute to financial strategies and look at risk management
- Challenge their existing account directors on their margins and regularly meet with them to discuss
- Budget and Control costs – implementing control measures, and managing company expenses
- Stakeholder Communication -Communicate financial information and strategy to stakeholders, including shareholders, board members, and executive management
- Management of the day-to-day function of the finance department
- Management of Finance team of 2-3 staff
- Identifying improvements and efficiencies in financial processes
- Support to Operational departments as required
- Implement Internal Controls and KPIs
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience with R&D tax credits in Ireland, applying this expertise to benefit company financials
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good leadership abilities
- High level of self-motivation
- Team player with strong work ethic
- 3-5 years relevant experience
