    Role will be working within the UK and Ireland Team but will be based in Ireland

    Construction Project Manager Onshore Wind (UK & Ireland)

    An exciting opportunity to be part of RWE Renewables' UK & Ireland Construction Team . We are looking for enthusiastic talented project manager to drive projects forward from Final Investment Decision (FID) to Commercial Operation Delivery (COD) safely, on time, to quality and budget, incl. successful Hand Over to Operations. You will have the opportunity to work alongside other talented teams within RWE Renewables.

    Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with local authorities, utilities, suppliers, contractors and any other parties relevant to the delivery of the assigned project
  • Participate in the tendering for long lead items and payment/delivery terms negotiation
  • Provide expertise/support to ensure the proper and timely discharge of any planning conditions relevant to the works
  • Participate in the tendering and negotiation of Turbine Supply Agreement (TSA) and Balance of Plant (BoP) scopes and contracts
  • Supervision and management of the TSA & BoP through the delivery phase
  • Budgetary and Scheduling responsibility for each assigned project
  • Periodical reporting to the management team on the delivery progress and risks
  • Requirements:

  • A degree in a Civil, Mechanical or Electrical engineering principle will be advantageous
  • Health and safety - SMSTS / NEBOSH / IOSH accreditation
  • Demonstrable experience in negotiating and working under commercial contract frameworks such as NEC3/4, FIDIC, etc.
  • Experience in delivering utility scale onshore wind projects
  • Advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite, Autodesk Viewer and Visio (or other similar PM software)
  • Industry recognised Project Management qualifications - PRINCE 2/ APMP Professional
  • Full valid UK driving license
