- Management of the EHS Management System on-site in accordance with applicable laws, business policies, and ISO 45001 and ISO
- Working with site management, subcontractors, and direct staff to foster a positive H&S culture on the job site while being able to inspire and motivate them to achieve their objectives.
- Track on-site EHS compliance and produce weekly inspections & reports.
- Create, improve, and implement effective site EHS procedures that ensure compliance with legal and environmental safety requirements.
- Keep all pertinent EHS plans and documents current on the property, such as the H&S Plan, the Environmental Plan, the SWMP, etc.
- Collaborate with site management, offering guidance, and serve as meeting host for SHE.
- Communicate as necessary with the client, PSDP, and design team.
- Together with the site team, create and complete risk assessments and method statements.
- Maintain close contact with the client and the Mainline project team.
- The chosen candidate should have a degree or diploma in health and safety that is recognized as well as prior experience working in an EHS role, ideally in the electrical, civil, or infrastructure sectors.
- It is advantageous to have prior MV/HV Power, Solar, or Wind industry experience.
- IOSH member or pursuing this accreditation.
- Solid IT abilities, particularly with MS Office software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Take charge of all EHS Project-related tasks.
