- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining a close contact with customers
- Communicate effectively with customers, shippers and receivers regarding changes in pick up - delivery and potential service failures
- Communicate customer queries to management on a regular basis.
- Identifying oppurtunities for improvement in clients supply chain operations including process improvements thus increasing efficiency and generating revenue
- Preparing bids for new business oppurtunities from prospective clients
- Maintaining existing accounts with current or business customers
- Meeting targets as set out by the management team vis a vis cold calls, door to door sales, references and lead generation
- Stay update on industry developments and trends to identify new sales oppurtunities.
