My client, a top national bank is looking for an Application Solution Designer to design an Invoice Discounting Application.

The Job:

· Solution design for business banking re-platforming

· Current systems - mixture of Wintel and AS400, core platform (Invoice Discounting) and peripheral systems

· New system - third party hosted managed service

· Requirement - abstract 'as is' architecture and design 'to be' architecture

· Includes replacing current interfaces from banking system to downstream recipient bank systems e.g. SAP, bookkeeping, payments, regulatory reporting, with corresponding interfaces from new system

· Scope includes secure file gateway, use of IBM Connect:Direct, working with Security personnel (PEN testing etc.), firewall changes specification, 2FA
