My Client is one of the world's leading asset servicing providers to institutional and corporate clients, they are seeking a Finance Supervisor to implement the day-to-day financial control and assist with the production of monthly management accounts, statistics, regulatory returns, and financial reporting


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Implement the day-to-day financial control as directed by the Team Manager Coach and mentor new and junior employees and ensure their daily tasks are carried out to the required standard.

Oversee the payment & recording of expense payments & accruals and the recording of income receipts & income with the assistance of junior employees.

Prepare tri-annual income & expense forecasts and an annual budget.

Investigate, analyze and explain in writing the variations in income and expenses from month to month, quarter to quarter, year to year, and against the budget.

Prepare and collate monthly management papers for Senior Management meetings and quarterly papers for Board and Supervisory meetings.

Assist in the preparation and delivery of annual statutory accounts and respond to all external and internal auditor and tax advisor queries.

Prepare and collate statistics for monthly management reporting Oversee the preparation and submission of bi-monthly VAT returns.


Job Attributes:
Minimum of a third-level qualification in Accounting or a related field. Experience within a similar position ideal. Experience or an interest in the development and training of more junior employees. Must have excellent Excel skills and be proficient in PowerPoint and Word. Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written in English. Exposure to SAS (Statistical Analysis System) and OneSumX (a regulatory reporting tool) is advantageous but not essential.
