    Job Title: Business Analyst

    Location: Dublin 1 Hybrid

    Contract / Permanent: FTC 6 Months, With further extension.

    Start date: May 2024

    Role:

    The Bank requires the services of skilled Senior Business Analysts to join the Business Analysis team.

    Candidates must have 7+ years' recent Business Analysis experience.

    The successful candidates will work as part of one of our Agile teams, the Bank reserves the right to re-assign the Senior Business Analyst to other projects in the portfolio should the need arise.

    Candidate must have experience of working in an Agile Environment and being part of a team delivering projects using the Agile Project Management Methodology Candidates will ideally have.

    · Experience of working on large complex projects

    · Experience of working on multiple projects simultaneously

    · Experience of working on Public Procurements initiatives

    · Experience of working in the Public and/or financial sector

    · Experience of working with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies

    · Experience of electronic document and records management systems an advantage.

    The successful candidates will work on one or more projects/teams that are at various stages in their lifecycle and will be required to produce some or all the following deliverables.

    · High Level and Detailed Requirements Documents covering both functional and non-functional requirements.

    · User Stories and supporting material.

    · Process flow diagrams of As-Is and To-Be processes.

    · Requirements Traceability Matrices

    · Other deliverables as required depending on the initiative.

    Experience Level Required:

    · It is a mandatory requirement that the Resource proposed has 7+ years recent Business Analysis Experience including experience working in an Agile Project methodology environment.

    · candidates should have a diploma/degree qualification with accreditation from a relevant professional body (e.g. BCS / CABA) being desirable.

    Key Deliverable:

    The candidate will be required to work on several different current and upcoming small changes and larger projects that are at various stages in their lifecycle.

    · User Stories and supporting material in line with Agile best practice.

    · Process flow diagrams of As-Is and To-Be processes.

    Requirements

    Key Experience/Competencies/Skillsets:

    The following Experience/Competencies/Skillsets are applicable to this Role. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have experience of working on several large and complex projects in a Business Analyst role.

    They should:

    1. Have a broad experience of business analysis techniques particularly requirements elicitation and management, and business process analysis and modelling. Experience of AzDo or a similar agile requirements management tool preferable

    2. Have extensive experience in facilitating workshops, with multiple diverse participants including experience with running virtual and hybrid workshops.

    3. Have extensive experience of stakeholder management, including managing challenging stakeholders.

    4. Have experience in producing concise and accurate specifications of business needs using both Waterfall and Agile Methodologies 5. have excellent interpersonal skills, be comfortable working within a team environment, demonstrate the ability to work on own initiative and demonstrate the ability to identify potential project roadblocks.
