    About the Role:

    Datadog is seeking a People Business Partner to support our rapidly scaling team. This position will work closely with leadership and our People team to help support our global organization's employees while working strategically on all People programs and initiatives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Represent our global PBP team to partner with all employees and leadership
    • Advise, coach, and influence management on performance management, coaching, career pathing, employee relations, compensation, organizational development and scaling, training, culture, diversity & inclusion, and employee engagement
    • Consult with the COE team to design programs enhancing the employee experience
    • Build, advise, and consult on People policies, guidelines, and programs in collaboration with COE colleagues
    • Provide analysis and consulting to leadership for data-driven people decisions and implementation of best practices
    • Assess employee development needs, make recommendations, and implement solutions aligned with the organization's broader strategy
    • Handle complex global employee relations issues, working with leadership to implement best practices

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in HR or a related role, preferably in fast-growing technology companies
    • Able to adapt your approach and pivot your skillset from strategic program implementation to granular day-to-day needs of a fast-paced business
    • Strong analytical and reporting skills; experience with HRIS (Workday is a bonus)
    • Experienced in working across business functions with first-line and senior leadership
    • A master in project management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to design clear processes and detail-oriented problem solving
    • Experienced in employee relations and knowledge of global employment practices
    • A clear, direct, approachable, and friendly communication style and strong customer service orientation
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and trust at all levels of the organization
