    Job Title: Part-time Computing Lecturers

    Summary:

    We are seeking part-time computing lecturers to join our faculty from December 2024. The successful candidates will deliver classes primarily on-site at our Dublin City Centre campus, teaching a range of subject areas including cybersecurity, data visualisation, machine learning, and more.

    Compensation:

    €105 per hour

    Description:

    The role of a part-time lecturer involves delivering high-quality teaching and assessment to students, as well as contributing to the development of module content and assessments. Key responsibilities include developing and delivering module content, preparing teaching materials, and assessing student work.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Teaching and Assessment: Develop and deliver module content, prepare teaching materials, and assess student work in accordance with DBS guidelines.
    • Module Development: Contribute to the development of module content and assessments, ensuring alignment with academic standards and regulation.
    • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve programme goals, participate in monthly programme team meetings, and attend other relevant events.

    Requirements:

    • Qualifications: A minimum of a master's degree in a related field is required.
    • Experience: Teaching experience and/or significant industry experience in relevant areas is essential.
    • Skills: Excellent communication skills, proficiency in using educational technologies and e-learning platforms, and ability to integrate industry practices and standards into teaching.
