    We are hiring an Operations Support Service Technician to fulfil an assignment for one of our clients, a high-profile organisation requiring a strong onsite presence three days per week.

    This role involves responding to the Transport Management System (TMS) and Integrated Ticketing System (ITS) teams, providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of transport infrastructure.


    Responsibilities:

    Act as a primary point of contact for technical issues, responding to faults raised through our Helpdesk by system users or through automated fault detection systems.

    Support hardware installation and configuration of end-to-end infrastructure equipment, including but not limited to on-bus AVL, ticketing equipment, and display systems.

    Perform scheduled firmware upgrades and update network equipment to the latest releases.
    Troubleshoot and support Windows OS and Server environments in a business setting.
    Manage goods in and out, stock management, and asset tracking using a database and other systems.
    Coordinate repair processes by sending parts to vendors and booking returned items back into stock after repair.
    Travel to service providers and end-user premises as required, primarily within the greater Dublin metropolitan area.

    Receive full training in supporting the equipment; however, prior experience in maintaining on-bus ticketing and vehicle location systems is highly desirable.


    Required Experience and Qualifications:
    Minimum of three years experience in a similar technical service environment.
    Possession of a National Craft Certificate in one of the following fields: Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Automotive.
    Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills in complex technical environments.
    Ability to interpret technical manuals, specifications, and drawings/diagrams.
    Systems analysis and design experience; customer-facing experience is a plus.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
