The role is part of the Investment Accounting and Reporting team and is part of business aligned Global Securities Accounting & Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparation and review of Solo and Group Solvency II Investments QRTS, analytics and Investment aspects of quarterly and annual Solvency II reports
• Support the periodic (monthly, quarterly, annual) reporting of the Investment performance via production of USGAAP, USSTAT & Solvency II analytics across EMEA
• Support NII Plan & Projections for EMEA region
• Partner with key stakeholders,
• Review and oversight of work performed by offshore service provider ensuring appropriate controls in place with strong value add focus.
• Lead & support ad-hoc projects as required
• Develop and maintain sound and robust process controls and procedure documentation
• Support Risk Function, reporting of KPIs and Finance Data Governance steward for Solvency II reporting.
Required:
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
• Exposure to accounting and reporting aspects of a wide variety of asset classes
• Strong understanding of drivers of investment performance
• Excellent communication and presentation skills - both written and oral
Preferred:
• Experience with Solvency II reporting
• High level of personal drive and enthusiasm and ability to work under pressure with tight timeline
• Experience with a change culture and fast paced developments
• Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
