    Commercial Development Manager

    We are seeking an experienced Commercial Development Manager to join our team and take on a newly created role within a high-profile organisation in the Limerick & wider mid-west region.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, suitably qualified, and commercially focused professional to further develop their career in a highly successful organisation within a dynamic industry sector.

    The Job:

    You will be responsible for planning and managing income and sales streams, negotiating funding, developing new long-term client/partner relationships, and expanding engagement with the existing client/partner networks.

    In addition, you will develop and implement new multi-year commercial and growth strategies, increase the scope of the organisation's business activities, liaise with external specialists in their industry sector, attend events/networking opportunities, and represent the values of the organisation.

    Your Skills & Experience:

    • You hold a 3rd level degree in business studies, commerce or a related discipline.
    • You have 4-5+ years experience in sales, client account, or other commercially focused management role.
    • Experience in working in the not-for-profit, arts, or media/entertainment sectors would be an advantage.
    • You have proven experience in strategic planning.
    • You possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with colleagues and partners at all levels.
    • You have strong IT knowledge and ability to lead projects.

    The Offer:

    This is a full-time position with a base salary, depending on experience/qualifications, of up to approximately €55k + benefits and pension. This is a permanent position.

    The organisation is based in Limerick city, but the role can be hybrid with 2-3 days based from home/remote if desired, so it may also suit candidates based outside of the traditional commuting zone of Limerick.

    Description:

    The organisation is now expanding its leadership group and requires a talented individual to assist with this development. As a key member of the operations and leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial growth and increasing revenue streams.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and manage income and sales streams.
    • Negotiate funding agreements.
    • Create and nurture long-term client/partner relationships.
    • Expand engagement with existing client/partner networks.
    • Design and implement commercial and growth strategies.

    Requirements:

    • Degree in business studies, commerce or related field.
    • Minimum 4-5+ years experience in sales, client account, or commercially focused management role.
    • Desirable: experience in not-for-profit, arts, or media/entertainment sectors.
