Position Title : Product Specialist Reporting to: Senior Product Manager Location: Shannon Position Summary : Due to continuous growth, we are seeking an energetic, confident and motivated product specialist to join our product team. Working closely with the Senior Product Manager, the product specialist will be the gatekeeper in making sure that the technical portfolio is maintained within the business. In addition, you will provide reporting, analytics and insight on the business performance and be accountable for category performance including market analysis, product/category planning and pricing. The team is highly collaborative, so the successful candidate will enjoy working with others to share ideas, as well as have the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to the sales team including remote technical support calls and develop guides/supporting documents.
  • Support the marketing team with product demonstrations and technical product information.
  • Respond to all technical queries within the required SLA.
  • Conduct On Demand product demonstrations and customer training within EMEA.
  • Conduct level 1 troubleshooting on all product issues.
  • Resolve basic emerging product issues in the field (Hardware, Software, film) Investigate and document scope and scale of the issues. Initiate resolution with Operations or Customer Care team. Inform and escalate to PM/PD where necessary.
  • Contribute to product testing. Conduct in-depth product testing and document results for both new product development and current products. Perform analysis on testing results to thoroughly understand product limitations. Perform testing on competitor products and compare performance against ZAGG film.
  • Assist the Senior Product Manager in having more technical conversations with customers, providing specialist knowledge to help achieve a sale.
  • Use internal systems and data to track performance, provide insights and action change which will improve the performance of the vendor.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc reporting for On Demand products.
  • Collect customer and sales feedback and requirements and proactively help integrating them into the roadmap.
  • Build relationships whilst providing support to the Sales Managers to ensure the successful implementation of new product launches.
  • Continuous process improvement initiatives as required.
  • Become a technical expert in the ZAGG on demand screen protection product range.
  • Work with all departments to manage change requests to improve internal processes.
  • Assist in improving existing process flows and ensure these are adhered to.
  • 5% travel will be required.
  • Perform additional duties when required.
  • The Ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or Engineering is essential
  • 2+ years' experience, within a product category role is essential
  • Experience in consumer electronics highly preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Thrives in an environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing, and customer-oriented
  • A meticulous eye for detail with excellent organisation, communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt and change with the business needs
  • Technically minded and able to learn and communicate complex technologies
