    Description

    Sustainability Manager Concast is a leading manufacturer of precast concrete structures, for the construction sector in the UK and Ireland.

    Concast is in Newcastle County Dublin. The successful candidate should ideally have construction related experience. Further developing supplier relations and improving the purchasing process internally.

    Communicate objectives, requirements and sustainability standards and programme across the company Maintain, update and communicate Sustainability procedures Continue to implement standards such as ISO 14001 and EPDs and similar standards within the company Engage with supply-chain on matters of quality, sustainability and improvement You will be required to monitor stock and upcoming material requirements.

    Monitor compliance of the organisation in accordance with sustainability and environmental guidelines and targets Review and advise on all aspects around Social Value, Ethical Procurement and Environmental Impact Assist with compliance matters such as quality, site specific ITPs Coordinate and review all sustainability and other compliance information from projects.

    You will co-ordinate/manage responses to all customer / key external stakeholder requests in a timely and professional manner.

    What do you need to be successful in this job? Extensive working knowledge of all aspects of sustainability Third level qualification in Sustainability or similar technical qualification You have up to 1-3 year experience in a similar sustainability/compliance role Competency in current benchmark techniques and statistical analysis All applications in confidence, candidates should be eligible to work in Ireland.
