    DESCRIPTION OF A SOCIAL CARE WORKER ROLE AT BARROG HEALTHCARE Our organisation is committed to delivering high-quality social care services, supporting vulnerable adults and children in their journey towards independence.

    Purpose of the Role:
    In this role, you will be working as a Social Care Worker within our team, providing support to clients in various settings. Your primary responsibility will be to promote community inclusion and equal citizenship for individuals with varying needs.

    The Company:
    Barrog Healthcare is a small private health & social care company based in Dublin, providing nationwide services including residential care, day packages, and mainstream social care. Our mission is to work collaboratively with service users and staff to ensure their growth and well-being.

    Key Responsibilities:
    - Provide non-judgmental support to clients from a trauma-informed perspective
    - Prevent and manage challenging behaviour
    - Develop and implement care plans, ensuring accurate recording and reporting
    - Liaise with families, general services, and other agencies on behalf of clients

    Requirements:
    - Bachelor's degree in Social Care or equivalent qualification
    - Registration as a Social Care Worker with CORU by November 2025
    - Previous experience in a healthcare or disability support setting (desirable)
    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
