Description
The Absolute Hotel are recruiting an experienced Hotel Receptionist.TheHotel Receptionistwill work closely with and report directly to the Front Office Manager and will assist in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Front Office Department.
Key roles & responsibilities:
Excellent personal presentation, phone manner and customer service skills required. Ability to maintain and manage consistently high standards of service and manage all operations within the front office department. Be responsible for upselling at front desk. Be responsible for allocations of rooms. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are essential. To build a good rapport and be empowered to solve issues as they arise and anticipate guest needs.
To undertake front of house duties, including meeting, greeting and attending to the needs of guests, to ensure a superb customer service experience.
Handling check-ins or check-outs. To be responsible for accurate and efficient accounts and guest billing processes.Adhere to all GDPR policies Keeping the front office and the reception area clean and tidy at all times The ideal candidate for this position would possess:
Minimum of one years experience in a similar role Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills Standards driven and detail-orientated Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment Flexible with regards to working hour Excellent written and spoken English Must be available to work weekdays and weekends Benefits of working with the Absolute Hotel Meals on duty provided.
