    Description

    Job SummaryAt ATC we believe that learning English should be fun, interactive and a memorable experience so all of our programmes are designed to combine effective language learning with a busy activity programme in an active environment.


    ATC Language Schools have been offering junior programmes for over 45 years and is now one of Ireland's leading providers of English language teaching for juniors, with summer centres in Dublin and across Ireland.

    We have centres in a variety of locations, from a compact rural boarding school campus to a modern landscaped university city centre campus.


    We offer English courses for students of different ages and levels of English, all of which are approved in Ireland by Quality and Qualifications Ireland for English Language Teaching (ELT).


    Our summer centre students are typically aged , although we do also have courses for 9 -12 year olds and year olds.


    ATC are members of, and accredited by, the leading associations in the international education sector, including ACELS, EAQUALS, MEI, Quality English and Select Ireland.

    Our English courses, which are taught by fully qualified teachers, have an international reputation for academic excellence.


    We aim to help our students improve their English language skills in a friendly and stimulating atmosphere by providing an extensive educational and cultural programme, and by ensuring that their needs are clearly understood and met at all times.

    We are recruiting for various roles ranging from teaching staff to management positions for our 2024 summer schools. There are opportunities to learn new skills, develop existing skills and share your experience.

    Our summer centres are busy, fun, challenging and exceptionally rewarding environments in which to work.


    We are looking for responsible, talented and creative individuals who can work as part of a team, ensuring the safety of our students and providing a positive environment, whilst also enjoying an active summer and developing their skills.

    Our summer courses run between the the 17th of June 2024 and the 9th of August 2024.

    Qualifications*EFL teachers*:


    Essential qualifications:

    • CELTA or equivalent (Trinity CertTESOL, ACELS CELT)
    • We also accept State Qualified Teachers (Ireland)

    Desirable qualifications:

    • Experience working with young learners and/or teenagers
    • Experience working in summer centres
    *Centre Principals*Essential qualifications:

    • Previous academic management experience

    Desirable qualifications:

    • EFL qualifications CELTA/DELTA or equivalent
    • Experience working with young learners
    • Previous summer centre experience
    *Centre managers*Essential qualifications:

    • Previous management experience

    Desirable qualifications:

    • Previous summer centre experience
    All positions require native/near-native level of English

    Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU

    Salary and BenefitsEFL teachers Euros per hour

    Centre Principals - Competitive salary offered dependant on experience/qualifications

    Centre managers - Competitive salary offered dependant on experience/qualifications

    Standard holiday compensation offered.

    Accommodation may be provided subject to availability, though it is limited.

    Potential for growth and development within the role.

    Preferential consideration for future employment and year round positions given to successful candidates who perform well within the roles.
