    A Systems Implementation Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring that new customers experience a seamless transition to using the Softworks solution. This professional is tasked with analysing business requirements to tailor the software configuration to meet the specific needs of each client. The job involves a blend of technical expertise and customer service skills, as the specialist must work closely with clients to understand their operational needs and translate these into functional software solutions. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to customize and configure systems to meet specific organizational needs.

    The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in software implementation, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.     To be eligible to apply for the Project Implementation Specialist Programme, we are looking for applicants that have completed a relevant degree at a third-level organisation such as Business, Computer Science, Analytics, or Management Information systems or have relevant experience in technical systems implementation.

    Systems Implementation Specialist Overview

    • Configuring the Softworks solution according to client specifications
    • Translating client needs into technical specifications for the development team
    • Leads the technical configuration of software solutions to ensure compatibility with the client's existing systems and infrastructure
    • Oversees integration processes, ensuring seamless connectivity between the new software and other systems or platforms used by the client
    • Coordinates with software developers for any required customizations, ensuring they meet the technical requirements and quality standards
    • Ensure implementations are completed to meet specified requirements and any outstanding tasks are completed
    • Provides expert-level technical support during the implementation phase, resolving complex issues that arise
    • Communicate and test any bugs or issues with software developers to ensure they are removed
    • Confirm all implementation documentation is produced and training and support is arranged for the client
    • Assist Senior Project Managers with tasks related to project implementation and configuration
    • Report on the success of the implementation and any setbacks that were encountered or room for improvement
    • Establishes a feedback loop with clients and internal teams to gather insights on the technical aspects of the software implementation
    • Create Project Plans, for the implementation, identifying goals and timelines to stay on track and meet deadlines
    • Manage stakeholders throughout the implementation
    • Collaborate with various teams to ensure a successful implementation

    Location

    The role will be remote working but can include site visits to our customers' headquarters and occasional travel to our headquarters located in Bray, Wicklow, Ireland.

    Requirements

    • 2/3 years' experience in systems implementation
    • Strong technical skills are essential
    • Strong communication skills – you must enjoy interfacing with customers and be confident in representing the company
    • Excellent organisational and time management skills are essential
    • Ability to work flexibly and co-operatively to solve problems and achieve team goals
    • Ability to exercise initiative and to embrace and adapt to change
    • Must be a strong team player and also able to work on own initiative
    • Experience in the Time and Attendance industry is highly desirable but not essential
    • Written and verbal fluency in one or more of the following languages French, German, Italian, and Spanish is highly desirable
