    CMO Supplier Relationship Manager

    The primary purpose of this role is to establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with external parties, specifically Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) and commercial partners.

    Key duties will include:

    • Leading and managing the relationships between company,CMOs and partners to ensure compliance with the agreements in place.
    • Cultivating strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers to promote open communication, trust, and long-term partnerships.
    • Involvement in the negotiating and finalising contracts and agreements with suppliers, including terms and conditions, pricing and delivery schedules, in close contact with the Contract manufacturing function in HQ and finance.
    • Continuously assessing supplier performance against established benchmarks and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and addressing any issues or non-compliance.
    • Planning the CMOs schedule to ensure coordination with internal packaging capacity and partner requirements.
    • Ensuring the CMO's have the necessary API and ensure the shipment of product from the CMO takes place on time.
    • Monitor use of API by the CMO's and ensuring reconciliation systems in place.
    • Managing the artwork department and using systems to ensure the lead time from start of artworks to approval is minimised.
    • Network with internal and corporate teams working to align future plant and CMO capabilities with emerging business needs.

    The successful candidate will have

    • Business or Supply Chain Management Degree (Hons) .
    • Advanced knowledge of CMO management and logistics, with practical experience of applying same, in the areas of forecasting, purchasing, negotiations, third party stakeholder management.
    • At least 7 years' experience working in the field of supply chain, with demonstrable ability to manage third parties.
    • Time served in a highly regulated manufacturing environment such as the Bio pharmaceutical or Food Industries.
    • Demonstrable project management and problem solving skills.
    • Familiarity with pharmaceutical artwork management and artwork management systems would be highly regarded
