    We are hiring CNM II - Oncology Day Ward in a Private Hospital in Cork

    Responsibilities
    • Directs and coordinates the daily patient care operations of the unit.
    • Analyses workloads and skill requirements to meet patient care needs.
    • Delegates appropriate tasks to personnel, consistent with professional and legal guidelines and departmental standards.
    • Participates in the delivery of family and patient education about chemotherapy regimes and treatment.
    • To administer chemotherapy under strict protocols, adhering to unit and hospital policies.
    • Be aware of hospital policies about the safe administration of cytotoxic preparations.


    Requirements

    • Enrolled in the general Division of the NMBI's live nurse registry
    • A management qualification is essential.
    • A minimum of 3-5 years post-registration experience in oncology is mandatory.
    • A postgraduate in Oncology/Haematology Nursing or similar.
    • Additionally crucial are preceptorships, educating, and evaluating junior employees and students.
