    Position Summary

    The National Director will report to the Global Markets President. This individual will lead growth of the membership in country plus operations with a strong emphasis on BNI's core values: Givers Gain, Building Relationships, Lifelong Learning, Positive Attitude, Traditions + Innovation, Accountability, and Recognition. As a Member of the Global Support Team, this person will work closely with other senior leaders and other National Directors to lead BNI to success.

    The National Director will recruit, onboard, and support both the CORE (company owned regions) as well as franchisees throughout the country bringing together all the global resources of BNI and every BNI Member. The right candidate for this role will have a well-developed business acumen, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent communication and team-building skills.

    Roles and Responsibilities

  • As National Director, the employee will have all the rights and obligations which the law, the articles of association of the company and the applicable management regulations (subject to change from time to time) grant to respectively impose on management.
  • Will oversee and be responsible for management of all day-to-day operations for all company-owned and support of franchise owned BNI business in Ireland including but not limited to: Providing regional leadership through management and implementation of Membership and profitability goalsExecutive direction for program strategies and efficiencies, compliance, and quality assuranceIdentifying and addressing staffing requirements for efficient operations, and maintain a strong work culture that attracts and retains people while driving BNI's mission
  • Direct and oversee the regional development and expansion within Ireland, collaborating with Franchise Executive Directors to develop programs ensuring long-term growth and return on investment for Members, and cultivating and maintaining key relationships with stakeholders and external partners.
  • Prepare accurate and timely analyses capturing and communicating business results, variances, and performance trends.
  • Qualifications

    Required:

  • Proven experience in operations and organizational development at a Director level
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar field
  • Track record of leading operational excellence
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Acts as a change agent and lead others through change
  • Proven project management skills
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time
  • General management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in social impact and helping others succeed
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Preferred:

  • MBA or EMBA from competitive program
