Seeking an experienced and keen Dairy Farm Coordinator to join a proactive farming team. Excellent opportunity to advance one's agriculture and dairy industry skillset. The Farm offers modern facilities, a rotary parlour, cow housing, Drafting, etc, the farm is currently expanding its herd from 400 cows and is looking for the successful candidate to fit in and work with the existing team
Responsibilities
The successful candidate, (depending on capabilities) will work with the farm owner and colleagues, they will be required to work well within a team environment and support colleagues where necessary. Looking for a person that will use their own initiative to improve and maintain standards on the farm.
Main Duties
Making daily decisions required for the smooth and efficient running of the farm.
Responsible for the daily performance of the farm and keeping abreast of the developments within the agriculture industry.
Take a hands-on approach to management, problem-solving, and daily tasks.
Have a flexible and reliable attitude with a wiliness to support co-workers and operations when necessary.
Maintain and input high health and safety standards.
Experience and Qualifications
• Knowledge and experience in Dairy/Farm /People management are preferable. Wiliness to learn to develop these skills is also welcomed.
Other Significant Role Requirements:
• Full Driving license.

Private Accommodation is available (Farm is located 500 meters from accommodation).
A private 3-bed furnished bungalow with a garden adjacent to the farm. Located in the rolling hills of Tipperary. Views of Slievenamon Mountain and the Commeragh Mountains. Friendly and welcoming community with the following amenities; shops, post office, schools, Creche, Tennis Club, GAA, and pubs all 3 km from the house. Ample hiking and biking opportunities, river Suir and Blueway 3 km from the house. Situated on the N27 on the bus route to Dublin and Kilkenny. Clonmel 7 km, Kilkenny 30km.
