    Preventative Maintenance Manager

    Our Client is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Manager to be part of a dynamic team within the Engineering and Maintenance function. They are looking for individuals who will support and drive the Company's vision to be the most valued global provider of high quality, competitively priced pharmaceutical products and to provide excellent services and support to our customers.

    Reporting to the Director of Engineering & Facilities, the Preventative Maintenance Manager will apply strong fundamental Managerial expertise in organizing and managing a dynamic high-volume environment to drive timely delivery of Essential Maintenance support required on the manufacturing and packaging Equipment to satisfy continued customer demand within the site, while ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    ·Managing and leading a preventative maintenance team to ensure preventative maintenance is conducted in compliance with SOPs, Health & Safety, & GMP standards.

    ·Schedule and Performance manage the Preventative Maintenance team to ensure activities are conducted efficiently/timely & compliantly.

    ·Ensure the preventative maintenance team are trained and effective and equipment parts are procured and ready for agreed scheduled preventative maintenance.

    ·Engage in Cross Functional Team activities to address and mitigate any root cause problems with preventative maintenance and machine performance.

    ·Develop Preventative Maintenance methods to minimise mean time between failure and maximise OEE.

    ·Ability to identify gaps and implement working procedures to improve the overall performance of the Equipment.

    ·Recommend, negotiate and justify cost effective service support contracts for approval by the director of engineering.

    ·Maximise equipment availability.

    ·Organise/schedule Preventative maintenance shut down activities.

    ·Identify development opportunities for continuous improvement of the Equipment.

    ·Foster successful relationships with Key client Stakeholders.

    ·Health & Safety requirements (e.g., Manual Handling Training)

    REQUIREMENTS:

    ·A Minimum of BS/BEng in Engineering or Managerial Discipline.

    ·Minimum of 5+ years' experience in engineering management.

    ·Experience in Pharmaceutical manufacturing and/or Biotechnology is desirable.

    ·Ability to work on own and as part of a team.

    ·Strong Technical Knowledge of Equipment reliability engineering.

    ·Knowledge of Pharmaceutical engineering compliance standards.

    ·Ability to build relationships and collaborate with others is vital.
