    Job Title: Financial Accountant

    This role is based at our new state-of-the-art Head Office in Maynooth, an open-plan office with collaborative working areas, subsidized canteen, EV charging points, and easy access by car or public transport.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ownership of a portfolio of entities within the group, including responsibility for completion of all month-end functions in preparation of accurate and timely management reports.
    • Revenue recognition on forward fund and construction contracts.
    • Support the group reporting processes.
    • Coordinate and participate in drafting single entity financial statements.
    • Participate in half-year and year-end reporting, including financial statement preparation.
    • Liaise with internal and external auditors.
    • Assist in preparing annual report, coordinating internal audit reviews, and maintaining risk register.
    • Support annual and quarterly budgeting and reforecasting processes.
    • Partner with departments across the business to provide informative analysis on margin, overhead, and capex variances.
    • Review and enhance processes to streamline financial reporting and improve controls.

    Requirements:

    • Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA).
    • 'Big 4' trained.
    • Experience in construction industry is a plus.
    • Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Solver experience advantageous.
    • Ability to work across several workstreams and meet strict deadlines.
    • Self-motivated and solution-driven.
