    Bristol Myers Squibb has been in operation in Ireland since 1964, employing over 650 people across a range of activities and business units.

    Ireland is home to External manufacturing's global headquarters, the business unit responsible for the management of manufacturing contract operations (CMO's) and ensuring reliable supply of product to patients across the Bristol Myers Squibb global network.

    This includes management of, and working in conjunction with, third party contract manufacturers and internal manufacturing sites. In Ireland, External Manufacturing has two sites; Global Headquarters based in Dublin 15 and a distribution centre in Shannon, Co Clare.

    The Role

    BMS External Manufacturing is looking to recruit an Associate, Warehouse Operative/Storeperson. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receipt and Dispatch of products to and from the warehouse
  • Receipt of non inventory items to the warehouse
  • Preparation, picking and packing of products
  • Correct movement of all materials on SAP system
  • Ensuring GMP and GDP compliance at all times
  • Ensuring that all SOP's are adhered to at all times
  • Focussed on safety
  • Safe and efficient operation of forklift and pallet trucks
  • Focussed on housekeeping (e.g. Cleaning of warehouse areas etc)
  • Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with colleagues.
  • Ability to prioritise, organize and manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines
  • Processing Invoices and routing same for payment
  • Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Must have excellent communication skills and foster open communication within the organisation
  • Must have 3-4 years warehouse experience – Pharmaceutical experience preferred
  • Must have a forklift licence
  • Experience of working in a flexible multi functional team
  • Proactive and positive attitude
  • General warehouse working principles
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Knowledge of GMP
  • Must be GMP and GDP Trained
  • Must have clear understanding of the Quality Requirements of the business
