    Director of Nursing Job Description at RecruitNet International Ltd.

    We are seeking a skilled Director of Nursing to join our team in Louth, Ireland. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering high standards of care to our residents and be responsible for ensuring all policies, procedures, and guidelines are implemented throughout the home.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Implement and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines across all levels of staff.
    • Provide strategic and clinical leadership for nursing services, ensuring effective, efficient, and quality-assured resident-centered care.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
    • Manage clinical documentation and ensure systems are up-to-date.
    • Conduct spot checks and internal audits, implementing action plans as necessary.
    • Foster an environment of continuous improvement and best practice within the home.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 3 years' experience as Director of Nursing/Person in Charge.
    • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
    • Demonstrable experience of strategic and clinical leadership adhering to HIQA standards and guidelines.
    • Strong financial, budgetary, and administrative knowledge.
    • Effective people management and leadership skills.
    • Post-registration management qualification in health or a related field.
