    Société Générale Securities Services (SGSS) is a Business Unit.

    Established in 27 locations worldwide with 4,000 employees, SGSS provides a full range of securities services that are adapted to the latest financial markets and regulatory trends: clearing services, custody and trustee services, retail custody services, liquidity management, fund administration and asset servicing, fund distribution and global issuer services.

    As an independent Service Unit, the Compliance department is responsible for the oversight of 2 entities in Dublin: SGSS Ireland and SG Dublin Branch.

    The VIE will liaise with management of these entities as well as coordination with central Compliance teams in Paris.

    Reporting to the Head of Compliance, the Compliance Administrator is mainly responsible for Compliance matters on Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions & Embargoes, Suspicious Transactions, and for some Know your customer (KYC) duties.

    They will gain an understanding of the day-to-day requirements within the Compliance area and have the opportunity to liaise with business teams and central departments.

    As the candidate progresses, they will have the opportunity to become involved in more tasks and further develop their knowledge and experience.

    Level 2 analysis of Transactions, AML & Sanctions/Embargoes issues, using information provided by various tools and departmentsRequests For Information formalization to the business teams and follow-upAnalysis Memos' formalizationQuality Check and Validation of some KYC files (on investors) – mainly risky & complex filesReporting formalization to local MLRO, in order to inform local management, Business Compliance Officer and Financial Crime department in FranceCoordination with Level 1 team in India, and with Financial Crime department in FrancePreparation of Suspicious Activity ReportsAnalysis of the existing and new local laws and regulations (e.g.

    Criminal Justice Act, Sanctions & Embargoes, etc.)

    with support of team members or Group experts and formalize the analysis to advise line management of relevant implicationsReviews of Compliance ProceduresParticipation in the Compliance Risk Assessment (COMPASS) in coordination with the teamParticipation in Monthly Compliance controls (GPS & RCI) for SGSS entities in Ireland (second line of defense) in coordination with the teamParticipation in Compliance reporting to local Senior Management and central departmentsParticipation in the Compliance Quality Assurance Testing program.

    Staff training on compliance subjects.

    Profile required PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply for a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

    Studies & experience:
    Graduate with a Master's degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Financial/ComplianceA previous experience in Compliance risks such as AML and KYC would be appreciatedLanguage skills: Fluent in English (B2-C1)

    Proficient/Good command of MS OfficeGood communication and presentation skillsSelf-starter and ability to work independentlyAbility to work in a team environment and coordinate within the team environmentAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously under time pressure and with extreme accuracyAbility to meet deadlinesAttention to detail a critical requirementGood administrative & organizational skillsGood initiative required but also ability to recognize when escalation of issues needs to be takenThe VIE assignment in a nutshell This VIE in Ireland is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment.

    It will last 18 months.

    In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.

    The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.
