Primtac Personnel are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician with expertise in ducting to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining ductwork systems.As a Ducting Specialist, you will ensure that ductwork meets industry standards, operates efficiently, and contributes to optimal indoor air quality and HVAC system performance.
Role and Responsibilities:
Install new ductwork systems according to specifications, blueprints, and building codes. This includes measuring, cutting, assembling, and securing ducts to ensure proper airflow and system functionality. Conduct inspections to identify ductwork issues such as leaks, blockages, or damage. Seal joints, seams, and connections in ductwork to prevent air leaks and improve system efficiency. Use specialized equipment to test airflow, pressure, and temperature levels within ductwork systems. Ensure that all ductwork installations and repairs meet industry standards, manufacturer specifications, and local building codes. Conduct quality checks and inspections to verify compliance and customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including installation details, repairs, inspections, and testing results.
Ideal Candidate:
Relevant carpentry qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC installation, repair, or maintenance, with a focus on ductwork.
Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, duct design, airflow dynamics, and building codes. Proficiency in using hand and power tools, ductwork materials, and measuring instruments. Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications for ductwork installations.Skills:
