    Job Summary

    The Procurement Manager plays a crucial role in implementing global purchasing strategies that meet the company's quality, safety, and cost goals. This individual will be responsible for managing internal customer requirements, preparing quotations, and negotiating the best terms and conditions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Implement global purchasing strategies aligned with quality, safety, and cost objectives.
    2. Manage internal customer requirements to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
    3. Prepare comprehensive quotations and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
    4. Collaborate with procurement leads to drive contract negotiations and resolve key issues.
    5. Develop and execute plans to improve supplier performance and reduce total cost of ownership (TCO).
    6. Lead subcontract elements and support internal reviews to enhance supply chain efficiency.
    7. Continuously monitor and analyze supplier performance data to implement corrective actions as needed.
    8. Review and renew contracts to optimize TCO and maintain strong supplier relationships.
    9. Support indirect procurement activities, focusing on sustainability, engineering, capital, and consumables.
    10. Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring updates to the risk register.
    11. Provide ongoing support to the Cork Procurement organization and other site teams.
    12. Evaluate new suppliers, collect and administer evaluation information, and conduct pre-audit assessments.
    13. Organize joint meetings to explore opportunities for cost savings and improve TCO.
    14. Establish robust supply chains and foster collaborative relationships with suppliers.
    15. Monitor supplier services through evaluation and audit plans, implementing audits as necessary.
    16. Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve performance and reduce costs.

    Requirements:

    • Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent required.
    • Prior experience in procurement or supply chain management preferred.
