    Senior Care Assistant Role

    We are seeking enthusiastic professionals to support adults in intellectual disabilities in a community-based setting, assisting with independent living skills and integration into the community.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist individuals with daily living tasks and personal care
    • Support independence by teaching life skills and promoting self-reliance
    • Facilitate social inclusion and community participation
    • Maintain accurate records and reports as required

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar role supporting people with disabilities
    • FETAC Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent qualification
    • Clean Manual Driving License
    • Working knowledge of HIQA regulations and Health and Safety Standards
    • Understanding of person-centred care and planning principles
