    Summary:

  • Handle and maintain flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines.
  • Actively supporting the Stockroom function in all material related and control tasks.
  • Accurately and safely perform warehouse related activities involving the physical movement of material with corresponding system transactions, supporting verifications, and documentation when necessary.

    • Responsibilities:

  • Physically and systematically executes necessary material movements involving all types of material requiring replenishment to manufacturing areas through SAP transfers.
  • Executes material movements to all necessary areas outside of the manufacturing process (i.e. shipping, parts prep, office personnel, etc.).
  • Utilizes RF scanners when appropriate for performing ERP transactions.
  • Performs MIGO GI and MIGO transfers on SAP.
    • Receive MRO and / bulk materials in SAP and perform receiving reversals transactions in SAP when required.
  • Maintains organization of Bin Management and First In First Out maintenance.
  • Returns unused materials to stockroom from manufacturing areas using RF scanners
    • Properly disposes scrap components.
  • Pulls material for purges from stock as needed.
  • Monitor aged inventory via SAP
  • Perform Warehouse Cycle-counts ,where appropriate, to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Verifies necessary material movements and paperwork to ensure correct physical and system movement of material and understand movements from audit trail perspective using SAP
  • Support coordination of MRB product materials in MRB location.
  • Adhere to Highly Marketable Parts (HMP) procedures and security procedures.
  • Liaise with 3rd party warehousing partner to ensure proper management of Jabil owned materials.
  • Own all material movement to stock including dock to stock, material requisition order (MRO), printed circuit boards (PCB), floor returns, and system transactions done by scanner or computer.
  • Issue all material from stock including transfers, kits, manual pulls, highly marketable parts (HMP) and system transactions done by scanner or computer.
  • Maintaining 5S order and cleanliness at all times.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Person Specification:
    • Computer literate with intermediate / Advanced MS Office skills.
    • Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams.

    • Job specifications:

  • Essential criteria:
  • Minimum Material Handler I and has completed all mandatory trainings.
    • Leaving certificate or equivalent required. May substitute educational requirements in lieu of experience.
  • 1-2 years' experience working in Supply Chain, Logistics or similar.
    • Previous experience with SAP is essential with strong analytical skills.
  • A good understanding of materials and manufacturing process knowledge Desired criteria
  • Previous experience in Electronic Manufacturing
