Head of Information Security - Ireland - Sportingtech

Description

As the Head of Information Security at Sportingtech , you will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and play a pivotal role in leading our security effort across the organisation .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain , and enhance the ISMS policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with ISO 27001 standards for continuous improvement and compliance with GDPR, and Cyber Essentials
• Collaborate closely with Architecture, Engineering and Operational teams to del iver an engineering-centric approach to security and operational practices
• Oversee security audits, respond to security incidents, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Manage and strategically plan the functions of our 24/7 SOC provider across the organization and systems, ensuring a robust defense against security threats
• T ake a holistic view of the entire company, from software to IT and personnel training, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in alignment with ISO 27001 standards

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• I nformation Security, risk management, digital forensics certificate s ( e.g. CISA, CISM, CDPSE, CISSP, GIAC, CEH, Encase, etc.) are a plus;
