    Job Title: Warehouse Operative - incl. laundry

    Reports to: Facilities Manager

    Contract Type: Permanent with 6-month probation period

    Hours: 37 hours per week (flexible)

    Rate of Pay: €28-€30,000 per annum depending on experience

    About the Role

    This role will support the in-house laundry of cloths & mops / warehouse operation & stock and deliveries function of the business. Reporting to the Operations Manager.

    Main Responsibilities

    Laundry:

    • Manage the weekly washing process of microfiber cloths and mops.
    • Sort and process soiled laundry.
    • Operate heavy laundry equipment such as washing machines and dryers.
    • Load and unload laundry into and out of the machines.
    • Sort out the clean laundry.
    • Work closely with Area Managers and Client Service Managers to ensure smooth operation of the weekly program.

    Warehouse & Handyman:

    • Organisation and control of the warehouse.
    • Efficient and safe storage of products and equipment.
    • Minor general repairs to machinery where required.
    • Ordering parts and materials.
    • Minor general head office maintenance.
    • General handyman duties.
    • Dispenser fitting as required.
    • Basic car maintenance.

    Other:

    Any reasonable duties that may arise in line with the role.

    Person Specification

    Qualifications:

    • Good level of English - Verbal and Written.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Excellent organisational skills.
    • Ability to prioritise workload under pressure.
    • Ability to resolve any issues.
    • Ability to multi-task.
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • Ability to solve problems quickly and diligently.
    • Must be a team player and display a calm and confident approach to all tasks.
    • Pleasant demeanour.
    • Ability to work on own initiative.
    • Flexible attitude to work.
    • Desirable: Computerised stock system experience.

    Experience:

    • Experience in a similar role.
    • Industry specific experience is preferable.
    • Manual Handling Training desirable.
