EZ Living Interiors are currently seeking an experience Health & Safety Officerto join our team in our Head Office inLittle Island, Cork.

Key areas of responsibility:
Developing, implementing and improving the health and safety plans and procedures in the workplace. Complete Safety Induction training for all new employees and maintain documentary evidence of same. Carrying out safety inspections and producing risk assessments. Investigate, record and report accident, incidents and ensuring any corrective actions are implemented without delay. Maintaining and providing relevant accident information for insurance purposes. Identify new and on-going safety related training requirements, ensuring all mandatory training is reviewed and delivered on time. Continuous training of staff on all areas of H&S Regularly review and update the companys safety statement.


The role requires:
An ability to work on your own initiative and develop the role within our ambitious business development plans. Travel to other store locations for Health & Safety inspections and training. A Manual Handling Instructor Qualification. A clean driving licence.


The successful candidate will hold:
Previous experience in health and safety. Excellent time management and communication skills. Strong computer skills. Maintain a professional attitude in challenging situations. Disciplined and well organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to be energetic, enthusiastic, flexible and not afraid of hard work.
