- The Cardiac Physiologist must possess a thorough understanding of the techniques and equipment utilized in modern medical practice for diagnosing, treating, and caring for patients.
- The ability to communicate effectively with consultants, general practitioners, and hospital staff regarding patients' needs is essential in ensuring quality care.
- Responsible for ensuring the timely production and delivery of patient procedures, as well as maintaining required departmental records
- correct and report delinquent medical records to uphold accuracy and compliance
- Ensure that equipment is properly maintained according to manufacturers' specifications to guarantee optimal performance.
- Possess the BSc in Clinical Measurement from Technology University Dublin or Dublin Institute of Technology.
- Have not less than one year's post qualification experience in a Cardiac Department.
- Possess Advanced Life Support.
- Good general knowledge of cardiology.
- Ability to utilise research in clinical practice, applying evidence based practice approach.
