    In a nutshell

    As a Project Manager Officer, you will be developing and maintaining project management standards and best practices while contributing to the management of GSD Intellectual Property and innovation. Additionally, you will be leading and providing executive reports on key projects to GSD Senior Leadership.

    Where will you be based and what business will you support?

    Based in Dublin, you will be a key member of the Gold Standard Diagnostics. GSD is an International Business Line (IBL), part of Eurofins Group, focused on the development, manufacturing and sales of bioanalytical technologies, diagnostic test kits and related instruments covering three main portfolios: Industrial Solutions, Animal Health, and Clinical Diagnostics. The company serves both external customers (industrial laboratories, governmental laboratories, and service laboratories) as well as customers within Eurofins Group.

    How can you help us?

    As a Project Management officer and trusted advisor for the GSD and IBL leadership team you will lead, coordinate, and support the project management teams within an organization for key selected projects that are essential to execute GSD strategy and achieve priorities by:

  • Developing, maintaining, and implementing project management processes and standards and best practices across GSD;
  • Developing and maintaining the PMO competence model to help project managers and all other stakeholders improve their skills through training, coaching, and mentoring on project management skills;
  • Creating and providing tools and other resources, including guidelines, documentation, and templates to ensure that projects are executed on time, within budget, with the expected quality of deliverables to achieve stakeholders' satisfaction and other project related metrics;
  • helping project managers with resource management and facilitating communication between stakeholders and project teams;
  • Leading the GSD teams to conduct problem-solving activities to implement effective solutions able to prevent the recurrence of issues and the occurrence of other similar potential failures;
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks through the application of sound risk management programs;
  • Assessing project performance and identifying areas for improvement;
  • Identifying ad-hoc projects, working on initiatives and issue-resolution efforts; to ensure that GSD IBL priorities and objectives are be met as planned;
  • Providing executive reports on project performance and project portfolio.
  • Qualifications

    Are you our kind of extraordinary?

    You have:

  • A University degree in scientific disciplines (Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, etc.);
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management related to product development and manufacturing of structured international organizations operating in food and feed or in-vitro diagnostics/medical devices businesses;
  • Proven track record and experience in the following:Project execution;Design controls;Problem solving;Risk management;Project execution.
  • Advanced MS Office usage;
  • Fluent English (written and spoken);
  • What else should I know?

    The following skills are a plus:

  • ISO 9001 and/or 13485 knowledge or Auditor/Lead Assessor qualification;
  • Experience with PMO tools;
  • Advanced MS Office usage.
