    About the Role:

    Our teams work to provide insightful financial information to inform decision making across AIB, meet our regulatory commitments, manage AIB's capital, liquidity and cost effectively and protect the assets of our business for the long term. By doing that we work to contribute to an exceptional customer experience.

    Key Responsibilities Include:
    • Use ALM knowledge and experience to provide analysis and to develop, specify and implement models that support the quantification of the bank's valuation measurements and its exposure to market, balance-sheet, and liquidity risks.
    • Engage with stakeholders and work collaboratively to ensure team deliverables meet business needs while complying with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
    • Challenge existing ways of doing things to improve processes related to IRRBB and Liquidity reporting development within the Bank.
    • Actively seek opportunities to learn from other team members and to grow within the role.
    What you will bring:
    • Relevant third level or postgraduate qualification in an analytical discipline (e.g., mathematics, physics, statistics, engineering, econometrics, actuarial science, computer science),
    • Practical coding experience (R or Python an advantage), advanced Excel & VBA required, knowledge of SQL also advantageous.
    • At least 3 years' experience within the Financial Services industry in an ALM or quantitative role in which you have demonstrated excellent analytic and problem-solving skills in areas such as IRRBB, Liquidity risk, balance sheet forecasting and stress testing.
    • Candidates with fewer years' experience will be considered if they have advanced degrees.
    • Experience of core risk systems for treasury or balance sheet risk measurement would be advantageous.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • An ability to work both independently and collaboratively,
