    The Role of Senior Accountant at a Growing Irish Corporation

    About the Company

    Our client is a leading Irish manufacturing and distribution business with a revenue exceeding €500m, poised to reach €1bn in the next 5 years. As the Group Financial Controller seeks to expand, a Senior Accountant is required to oversee financial operations for a small group of companies based in Ireland and Northern Ireland.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ownership and management of financial accounting for three entities
    • Preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis
    • Journal posting, reconciliation, and account closure
    • Review and validation of payables and receivables
    • Monitoring of margins, KPIs, and stock analysis
    • Cash flow monitoring and forecasting
    • Budgeting and projection for one, three, and five-year periods
    • Year-end financial reporting and tax compliance
    • Assistance with year-end audit

    Requirements:

    • Qualified Accountant with 1-5 years of post-qualification experience
    • Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder liaison skills
    • Dedication to professional development and continuous learning
