    Job Description

    We are seeking committed and caring Healthcare Assistants (Personal Assistants) to join our team in North Dublin.

    The position is permanent, with part-time or full-time availability depending on your schedule.

    What We Offer

    • Competitive Hourly Rate: €15.39 – €17.12 per hour, increasing to €19.23 p/h before 8am and after 8pm, €23.00 p/h on Sundays, and €30.80 p/h on Public Holidays.
    • Paid Benefits: Inter-client mileage, Maternity and paternity pay scheme, Excellent working conditions, Holiday pay at a rate of 8% of hours worked, PRSA Pension scheme available, Bike to Work Scheme, Employee Assistance Programme.

    Overall Purpose of Job: Enable Service Users to achieve maximum independence by providing assistance in daily living tasks, including personal care, domestic assistance, social and educational support, travel, and companionship.

    Key Responsibilities include fostering relationships with other Home Carers, coordinating with ALS Coordinators/Scheduling staff, and maintaining close communication.

    Training and Qualifications Required

    • Minimum of 5 modules completed of the Major Award at QQI Level 5 in Community & Health Services, Health Service Skills, or Healthcare Support.
    • Experience working with people in a caring role, preferably with Acquired Brain Injury.
    • Reliability, trustworthiness, and confidentiality are essential.
    • Excellent communication skills, with good spoken and written English.
    • Access to a reliable car.
