    Account Executive Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our Sales team. As a key member of our retail tech company, you will be responsible for building and maintaining lasting relationships with clients by understanding their focus and anticipating their needs.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Prospect and develop a portfolio of potential clients
    • Follow up and sell new solutions and services to existing customers
    • Collaborate with internal departments to write commercial proposals
    • Develop relationships with integrator/vendor partners
    • Ensure sales profitability and achieve sales targets
    • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH RETAIL INDUSTRY LEADERS
    • Participate in client events or trade shows
    • Assist marketing in developing business cases or communications/customer stories

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
    • 3-6 years of experience in account management and sales of complex hardware and software solutions
    • Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales goals
    • Knowledge of the retail industry is an asset
    • Able to understand clients' needs and add value
    • High level of personal drive and proactive work methods
    • Able to prioritize strategic tasks
