    SUMMARY: The Senior Associate – Global Business Controls Oversight is an important contributor to the Global Business Controls Oversight function. The role is likely to suit someone who has 2-3 years' experience of vendor management, business continuity, procurement, control assurance, operational risk or similar, preferably in the financial services sector. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of tasks in a dynamic team with a global remit.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist with the management of the Group's Outsourcing framework.
    • Assist with the management of the Group's Resilience framework.
    • Support the continuous improvement of effective oversight and reporting.
    • Support projects and ad-hoc initiatives.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
    • Establish good relationships with internal stakeholders.
    • Other opportunities and accountabilities as they arise.

    Education:

    A professional qualification or bachelor's degree or relevant experience gained, preferably in the financial services sector.

    Experience:

    • 2-3 years' experience in a related field.
    • Ability to plan and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
    • Motivated self-starter, attention to detail and focus on deadlines.
    • Excellent PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.), advanced excel is an advantage.
    • Strong technical and analytical skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
