    MedGen Healthcare Ireland are delighted to announce a position for Healthcare Assistants for a number of positions in County Cork and surrounding counties.

    Role Requirements:

    • Supporting the nursing staff and team in delivering quality person-centred care to meet the needs of residents.
    • Getting to know residents' interests and needs providing attention, support, and companionship.
    • Enabling and assisting residents to maintain their personal appearance/hygiene needs whilst always maintaining their dignity.
    • Participating, organising, and carrying out social activities.
    • Assisting in the upkeep of high standards of cleanliness in the home.
    • Contributing to the maintenance of Health and Safety in the home.
    • Any other duties deemed necessary by Nurse in Charge and management.

    Candidate Requirements:

    • QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare (or equivalent) completed or in progress.
    • Experience working in a healthcare environment.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Can work independently or as part of a team.
    • Valid eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland.
    • Fluent level of English both written and oral.

    Pay: €18.00-€41.00 per hour.

    Expected hours: No less than 12 per week.

    Benefits:

    • 10 hour shift.
    • 12 hour shift.
    • 8 hour shift.
    • Day shift.
    • Every weekend.
    • Holidays.
    • Monday to Friday.
    • Nights as needed.
    • Night shift.
    • Overtime.
    • Weekend availability.

    Licence/Certification:

    • B Driving Licence (preferred).
    • Level 5 in Healthcare Support (preferred).

    Work authorisation:

    • Ireland (required).

    Work Location: In person.
