Junior Mechanical Engineer
Hybrid Working Opportunity Junior Mechanical Engineer required for a Tier 1 M&E contractor based out of their offices inDublin.

The successful Engineer will be responsible for supporting the pre-construction team for severalData Centre Projects in Ireland and Mainland Europe.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with designers to refine detailed design proposals. Evaluate the project design and explore alternative construction methods. Assess the construction methodology to uncover program implications and required temporary works. Engage with the supply chain to create subcontract packages. Evaluate subcontract proposals and create a technical/commercial comparison for preferred bidder selection. Analyse project logistics to identify necessary temporary works for construction and management. Define site setup and compound, outlining project preliminary needs. Identify and address project risks, developing mitigation plans. Explore various facets of the project and tendering process.


Requirements:
A degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering. 2 years+ post grad experience. Experience working on large construction projects is essential. Excellent IT skills. Fluent English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work to strict deadlines.
