- Prepare accurate and timely monthly reports which allow management to evaluate the performance of the business.
- Ensure that all reporting is in line with IFRS, HGB (German GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that all reporting is in line with Group Accounting policies.
- Preparation of quarterly and annual NSTs in line with CBI requirements.
- Preparation of quarterly and annual QRTs in line with BAFIN requirements.
- Preparation of quarterly balance sheet packs.
- Maintain a strong and robust control environment and execute controls within our ICFR framework.
- Support/collaborate in various projects such as the implementation of HGB reporting.
- Continuous development of systems and automation of processes.
- Collaborate closely with other Finance teams (PPM and Actuarial Reserving)
- Review any industry statistics and prepare presentation/reports for management
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with at least 3+ year's PQE.
- Strong academic background with relevant Bachelor's degree.
- Experience within the Insurance industry is preferred.
- Understanding of Insurance and Financial Services.
- Understanding of IFRS standards
- Previous experience with SAP accounting an advantage.
- Previous experience in working on system implementation projects an advantage.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft excel skills.
