    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the order management process from order placement through to end user delivery in line with procedures, processes and SLAs to maintain best-in-class efficiencies.
    • Negotiate and monitor discounts, with a view to maximising where there is potential volume.
    • Coordination of vehicle fit-out requirements with third-party suppliers.
    • Consistent monitoring of new vehicle delivery dates to ensure communicated timelines and customer expectations are met.
    • Proactive management of new vehicle registrations as per arrival dates, contract end dates and customer requirements.
    • Collaboration with customers, drivers and suppliers to ensure new vehicles are delivered within efficient and agreed timelines.
    • Coordination of any return vehicles in conjunction with new vehicle deliveries.
    • Manage and maintain relationships with manufacturers and suppliers, including participation and engagement at meetings/events.
    • Systematic management of each of the above tasks so that reporting and automated communication are accurate.
    • Plan, implement and manage the annual vehicle supply tendering process.
    • Regular reporting and presenting to management on the performance of the function.
    • Working closely with other internal teams to ensure business and customer objectives are met.

    Key Requirements:

    • Organisation and consistent time management is essential to strong performance within the role.
    • Energetic self-starter, team-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent project management, decision-making and analytical skills.
    • Expertise with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel.
    • Strong presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written).
    • Excellent work ethic and ability to work to SLAs and/or under pressure.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility and the ability to multitask.
    • Customer-centric with the ability to be empathetic where practicable.
    • Previous experience in the motor trade desirable, but not essential.
