Senior Backend Developer (m/f/d)

What you bring to the table:

• You have sound know-how in the field of object-orientedsoftware development with Java and have experience in the supportand further development of a grown system
• You have conceptual design skills and are adept at identifying,analyzing and documenting requirements - you are happy to take ontesting independently after implementation
• You analyze the causes of problems both independently and as partof a team and enjoy cracking complex problems, researching errorsand debugging
• You communicate complextechnical content to your customers in a target group-oriented andunderstandable way and have a high technical and equally highprofessional affinity
• You combine youranalytical, systematic and conceptual way of thinking with a highlevel of quality awareness and a strong focus on results
• You have a good sense for potentialchallenges, act preventively and share them with your team andstakeholders
• You find pragmatic andpracticable solutions, are assertive and able to reach consensus
• You have already found your balance betweenfocused work and team play - you enrich your team with youropenness, motivation and proactivity
• Youhave trained as an IT specialist, have a degree in computer scienceor a comparable qualification - professional experience ininsurance or finance is an advantage

• Together with your team, you will developsoftware in the Provision subsystem as part of the functionalexpansion of WWK's core system
• You alwayskeep an eye on the further development of the technical mapping ofprocesses
• You have a desire to delve deeplyinto complex technical processes to ensure secure and valuablesoftware in the long term
• Your tasks includedriving forward the modernization and improvement of themaintainability of the code base through targeted refactorings -for this you develop business cases and are in close contact withthe product owner
• You are jointlyresponsible for the technical requirements gathering - theevaluation, analysis and resolution of error tickets are part ofyour daily work, in close cooperation with your colleagues
• You are responsible for the qualityassurance of your work and the creation of necessary technicaldocumentation - you create automated tests, execute queries in thedatabase and push your code changes to Git
• Your work does not end at the edge of your plate - in order tomaintain your product, but at the same time develop it further, youwork as deeply as possible into the existing system and thus buildup the necessary specialist knowledge
• Withyour drive and experience, you help your team to achieve theirgoals and set new impulses - so you continuously increase yourperformance
