    Job Description

    As a Catering Assistant with our team here at Parkmore, Galway, you will be helping us to deliver our catering services to those working for a large multinational medical device company. This position will be very rewarding for the right candidate, helping deliver restaurant services in a positive and engaging environment. Our interactions contribute hugely to the experience of those using our restaurants, and we aim to improve each customer's day through our interactions with them.

    Full-time or Part-time

    Job Responsibilities


    • Weekday, weekend and evening shifts available

    • €11.50 per hour, increased rate for Sundays, and Bank Holiday Pay

    • Full training provided

    • Uniform/shoes provided and staff meals provided during shifts.

    Qualifications

    What we are looking for from you:

    • To work with our front-of-house team supporting the tills, barista and deli counter

    • A good learner with attention to detail

    • Willingness to embrace and apply our high food service standards

    • A friendly personality, good people skills and a can-do attitude

    • Self-motivated and able to use own initiative as/when required

    • Team player with the ability to work towards a common goal

    • Compliance with our Company's health and safety policies and practices.

    You must have:

    • Previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced catering business

    • A Strong background in hospitality or catering is preferred

    • Excellent time management skills

    • Knowledge of Food Hygiene, including HACCP, is preferred

    • A problem-solving mind and solutions-orientated approach with a flexible can-do attitude
